There is a common saying that "Education is a secret key to human success and the root of education lies in the competitions". A child is born without any knowledge and skills. To build it, they have to continuously participate in competitions in every part of life so that they can develop skills and knowledge through a learning process. The purpose of conducting Quiz Competition is to encourage students to look beyond their textual knowledge and establish a relationship between theory and application of learned concepts. Quizzes improve or expand one's knowledge of things, either generally or in a specific area. Quiz competitions enable students to think out of the box. It's also fun to participate in but with a competitive element. It promotes a healthy debate amongst participants to learn from each other.

              The Quiz competition organized by the Department of Computer Science consisted of 4 groups namely Team Marvels, Team Gems, Team BlockBusters & Team Sensations. The competition was conducted in 5 rounds. In round 1, three general knowledge questions were asked to each team. Team Marvels led in round 1. In round 2, two computer awareness questions were asked to each team. Team Marvels led in round 2.  Round 3 was an image recognition round in which 15 seconds time duration was given to each team in which they had to recognize and answer as many questions as they can. Team Sensations led in round 3. Round 4 was a visual round in which an image had been shown on the screen and the team has to recognize the image as well as answer a question based on that image. Round 5 was face recognition round in which cropped images of actor/actress were shown on the screen and the team has to guess the correct actor/actress. After the completion of round 5, team Marvels won the quiz competition.

Certificates were distributed to the winning team members.
